Consultant Oncologist – Full‑Time in Dubai

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Consultant Oncologist to join a leading healthcare facility in Dubai. The role involves diagnosing and managing adult cancer patients while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to deliver personalized, evidence‑based oncology care.

Key responsibilities

• Provide specialist consultation, diagnosis, and treatment planning for a wide range of cancers.
• Develop individualized treatment plans using clinical assessment, pathology, imaging, and molecular/biomarker data.
• Manage systemic anti‑cancer therapies, including chemotherapy, immunotherapy, targeted therapy, and hormonal therapy.
• Monitor treatment response, manage adverse effects, and adjust therapy as needed.
• Participate in multidisciplinary tumor boards and coordinate care with surgeons, radiation oncologists, radiologists, and pathologists.
• Deliver cancer surveillance, follow‑up, and survivorship care.
• Ensure accurate medical records and compliance with clinical governance and patient‑safety standards.
• Contribute to clinical audits, quality improvement, research, and continuing medical education activities.

Required profile

• MBBS/MD or equivalent medical degree with a recognized postgraduate qualification in Medical or Clinical Oncology.
• Board certification or equivalent specialist qualification.
• Minimum 5–10 years of post‑specialization experience managing adult oncology patients.
• Eligibility for DHA Consultant classification/license in Dubai.

Required skills

• Proficiency in administering chemotherapy, immunotherapy, targeted therapy, and hormonal/endocrine therapy.
• Experience with systemic anti‑cancer therapy management and multidisciplinary team collaboration.
