Specialist Physician Neurology

About the role

The Specialist Physician in Neurology will join a leading Abu Dhabi health network, providing expert neurological care while supporting departmental initiatives and performance management.

Key responsibilities

• Support and implement hospital, departmental and divisional policies and initiatives.
• Assist the Division Chief with scheduling, recruitment and ensuring continuous medical coverage.
• Participate in peer‑review, productivity and utilization review processes.
• Diagnose and treat patients according to best‑practice standards for neurology.
• Oversee junior medical staff, ensuring quality of care and compliance with admission, consultation and discharge protocols.
• Lead ward rounds, reassess in‑patients and out‑patients, and document clinical information promptly.
• Review investigations, modify treatment plans, and coordinate multidisciplinary care.
• Obtain informed consent and prepare patients for procedures.

Required profile

• Medical degree with specialization in Neurology.
• Current UAE medical licensure and relevant certifications.
• Experience in a hospital setting, preferably in a senior or consultant role.
• Demonstrated ability to lead clinical teams and manage departmental initiatives.
