Specialist Scheduler & Cost Engineer

About the role

KBR is expanding its Project Management Consultancy team to support a high‑profile offshore development for ADNOC. The Specialist Scheduler & Cost Engineer will be based in the client or contractor office in Abu Dhabi, providing planning, scheduling, cost control and performance monitoring for the project.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, update and maintain integrated project schedules using Primavera P6, including WBS and coding structures.
• Perform critical‑path analysis, monitor schedule performance and create recovery plans for slippages.
• Establish and maintain Cost Breakdown Structure, monitor commitments, expenditures and forecasts, and prepare EAC/ETC.
• Conduct variance analysis, review contractor invoices, change orders and support contingency management.
• Implement progress measurement systems, generate weekly/monthly control reports, S‑curves, dashboards and conduct Earned Value Management analysis.
• Present schedule and cost performance to project management and recommend corrective actions.

Required profile

• Minimum 15 years of experience in project scheduling and cost engineering for large offshore or construction projects.
• Proven ability to work with multidisciplinary teams and deliver accurate reports under tight deadlines.
