Specialist Static and Package Equipment Engineer - Offshore Project

About the role

KBR is expanding its Project Management Consultancy team for a high‑profile offshore development in Abu Dhabi. The Specialist Static and Package Equipment Engineer will provide expert engineering support across the full equipment lifecycle, ensuring compliance with ADNOC standards, international codes and HSE requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the design, specification, review, procurement, fabrication, testing, installation and commissioning of static and packaged equipment for offshore oil‑and‑gas facilities.
• Review and approve engineering designs for pressure vessels, columns, towers, heat exchangers, storage tanks, pig launchers/receivers, filters, separators, flare knockout drums, scrubbers and reactor vessels.
• Validate package equipment deliverables such as chemical injection, produced water treatment, fuel‑gas conditioning, air compressors, nitrogen generation, desalination, utility skids and metering packages.
• Ensure all deliverables meet project schedules, HSE standards and client specifications.

Required profile

• Minimum 15 years (180 months) of relevant experience in static and package equipment engineering for offshore projects.
• Strong knowledge of ADNOC standards and international codes (API, ASME, ISO, NACE).
• Proven ability to lead multidisciplinary engineering teams and manage complex deliverables.
