Sr Web Method Developer with Kubernetes

About the role

We are seeking a senior webMethods Developer and administrator to design, develop and operate enterprise integration solutions in Abu Dhabi. The role combines deep expertise in webMethods middleware with hands‑on management of Kubernetes‑based deployments and CI/CD pipelines.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and support integrations on webMethods Integration Server (flow services, Java services, adapters).
• Configure and administer webMethods API Gateway, including security policies, throttling, versioning and lifecycle management.
• Install, configure and manage Universal Messaging clusters, topics, queues and fail‑over mechanisms.
• Deploy, monitor and troubleshoot webMethods components on Kubernetes using Helm charts, StatefulSets, ConfigMaps and Secrets.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins, GitLab or Azure DevOps for automated build, test and deployment.
• Diagnose performance, connectivity and clustering issues (Terracotta Server Array, Apache Ignite).
• Implement integration patterns such as pub‑sub, request‑reply and event‑driven architectures.
• Handle database interactions, stored procedures and data transformations.
• Set up observability with Application Insights, ELK or Grafana and lead root‑cause analysis.
• Mentor junior team members and contribute to coding standards and reusable frameworks.

Required profile

• 8+ years of integration/middleware experience, with at least 5 years using webMethods.
• Strong background in designing, deploying and supporting solutions on Kubernetes.
• Proven ability to create and maintain CI/CD pipelines.
• Excellent problem‑solving skills and ability to work with cross‑functional teams.
