Sr Wet Utilities Engineer

About the role

KN International is looking for a Senior Wet Utilities Engineer to lead the supervision of water supply, sewerage, stormwater and irrigation networks on a construction site in Abu Dhabi. The role is site‑based and focuses on ensuring that all wet services are installed in line with approved drawings, specifications and local authority requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise installation of water, wastewater, irrigation and storm‑water systems.
• Review and verify shop drawings, method statements and material submittals for compliance.
• Conduct regular site inspections, monitor progress and ensure adherence to IFC drawings.
• Coordinate with contractors, client representatives and authorities to resolve technical issues.
• Assist in testing, commissioning, snagging and handover documentation.
• Monitor contractor performance, quality, safety and schedule compliance.
• Maintain accurate site records, inspection reports and daily progress logs.
• Verify on‑site quantities, review interim payment applications and support variation assessments.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 10 years of site supervision experience on wet infrastructure projects, preferably in the UAE.
• In‑depth knowledge of water, sewer, irrigation and storm‑water installation methods.
• Familiarity with UAE authority standards (ADSSC, ADDC, ADM) and approval procedures.
• Experience with construction inspection, material testing and HSE protocols.
