Staff Nurse – Clinical Support

About the role

The Staff Nurse provides coordinated nursing care across the patient journey, delivering direct care, education and safe transitions. Working within SSMC’s mission and the UAE nursing regulatory framework, the role ensures age‑appropriate, evidence‑based care for patients and families.

Key responsibilities

• Collect and analyse comprehensive assessment data (physical, psychosocial, emotional, cognitive, spiritual) to identify patient diagnoses and risks.
• Develop culturally appropriate, individualized care plans with patients, families and the multidisciplinary team.
• Implement evidence‑based interventions, administer medications, and perform procedures according to organisational policies.
• Document all care activities, outcomes and plan modifications using standardized terminology.
• Communicate relevant information across all levels of care to ensure continuity and safety.

Required profile

• Registered Nurse licensed to practice in Abu Dhabi/UAE.
• Demonstrated knowledge of the Nursing Scope of Practice and Professional Nurses Code of Conduct.
• Ability to assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care in a fast‑paced clinical environment.
• Strong interpersonal skills to engage patients, families and multidisciplinary teams.
