Staff Nurse Interventional Radiography

About the role

The Staff Nurse – Interventional Radiography will join a multidisciplinary team delivering high‑quality, patient‑centred care in a fast‑paced radiology department. You will support interventional procedures, ensure patient safety, and contribute to the department’s mission of excellence.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare patients for interventional radiology procedures, including vascular access and sedation.
• Assist during angiography, angioplasty, embolisation, and biopsy interventions.
• Administer contrast media, monitor patients for reactions, and manage any adverse events.
• Provide post‑procedure recovery care, including assessment, stabilization, and documentation.
• Collaborate with physicians, technologists, and allied health staff to ensure seamless workflow.

Required profile

• Valid DOH RN licence.
• Minimum 2 years of clinical experience as an Interventional Radiology Nurse.
• Demonstrated ability to assess and stabilise patients before, during, and after procedures.
• Commitment to the Professional Nurses Code of Conduct for Abu Dhabi.
