Staff Nurse - Pediatric Clinic

About the role

The Pediatric Clinic at American Hospital is seeking a dedicated Staff Nurse to provide comprehensive clinical support for children of all ages. You will work closely with physicians and allied health staff to ensure safe and effective delivery of a wide range of pediatric procedures.

Key responsibilities

• Assist with aerosol treatments and Bili Check procedures.
• Support circumcision and insertion of enteral feeding tubes.
• Perform HbA1c testing and collect blood culture samples.
• Conduct health‑history interviews and physical assessments for paediatric patients.
• Execute point‑of‑care testing for influenza and rapid strep.
• Administer vaccines and conduct paediatric visual screenings.
• Use ketone meters and collect nasopharyngeal specimens.
• Provide oral care for infants and toddlers, administer oral medications, and perform oro‑nasopharyngeal suctioning.
• Collect throat swabs and support other routine laboratory procedures.
