Staff Nurse – Tower B5, Medical Wing

About the role

The Staff Nurse in Tower B5 of the Medical Wing provides direct patient care, education and coordination of nursing services. The role supports professional nursing practice across the continuum of care while upholding SSMC's mission, vision and values.

Key responsibilities

• Collect and analyse comprehensive assessment data (physical, psychosocial, emotional, cognitive, spiritual) to determine patient diagnoses and issues.
• Develop culturally appropriate, evidence‑based individualized care plans in partnership with patients, families and the healthcare team.
• Implement care plans, perform treatments and procedures, and administer medications according to organizational policies and protocols.
• Document all aspects of care using standardized terminology and ensure accurate communication across all levels of care.
• Continuously evaluate patient response, modify care plans as needed, and promote patient safety and health outcomes.

Required profile

• Registered nurse licensed to practice in Abu Dhabi or the UAE.
• Commitment to the Professional Nurses Code of Conduct for Abu Dhabi and the UAE.
• Ability to work collaboratively with patients, families and multidisciplinary teams.
