Staff Nurse – VIP Wing (Tower A8)

About the role

The Staff Nurse in Tower A8 VIP Wing is accountable for coordinating nursing care, delivering direct patient care, and providing patient and family education. The role ensures smooth transitions of care and supports professional nursing practice across the continuum, aligning with SSMC’s mission, vision and values.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate nursing care for patients in the VIP Wing.
• Provide direct, age‑appropriate patient care in accordance with the Nursing Scope of Practice.
• Educate patients and families about care plans and health information.
• Facilitate transitions of care between departments and services.
• Support and promote professional nursing practice throughout the care continuum.
• Adhere to and promote the Professional Nurses Code of Conduct for Abu Dhabi and the UAE.

Required profile

• Demonstrated accountability for nursing coordination and patient care.
• Commitment to delivering age‑appropriate care as defined by regulatory bodies.
• Understanding of SSMC’s mission, vision and values.
• Willingness to uphold professional nursing standards and ethical conduct.
