Stakeholder and Authority Coordination Lead

About the role

The Stakeholder and Authority Coordination Lead will drive engagement with government authorities, utility providers and external partners to secure the permits, approvals and NOCs required for successful project delivery. Reporting to senior project leadership, the role ensures that regulatory requirements are integrated into planning and execution, minimizing delays and risks.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement stakeholder and authority engagement strategies aligned with project delivery programmes.
• Identify and maintain a register of all relevant government bodies, utilities and external stakeholders for each project.
• Lead the preparation, submission, tracking and follow‑up of applications for permits, licences, approvals and NOCs.
• Maintain an authority approvals matrix and stakeholder register with responsibilities, submission requirements, target dates and current status.
• Coordinate with design, technical, construction, commercial and other internal teams to embed authority requirements into project plans.
• Review project documentation for completeness and compliance before submission.
• Monitor approval timelines, flag potential delays and proactively manage regulatory issues.
• Facilitate meetings and coordination sessions with authorities, consultants, contractors and other stakeholders.
• Maintain accurate records of communications, submissions, approvals and outstanding actions.
• Provide regular status reports to project leadership and escalate critical issues when needed.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, Project Management or a related discipline.
