Steel Fixer – Construction Site (Dubai)

About the role

We are looking for a skilled Steel Fixer to join a Dubai‑based construction company on a full‑time, on‑site basis. The successful candidate will work with the site team to cut, bend and install steel reinforcement for concrete structures such as columns, beams, slabs and foundations.

Key responsibilities

• Read and interpret construction drawings and reinforcement schedules.
• Cut, bend and position steel bars according to specifications.
• Secure reinforcement using appropriate tying methods and tools.
• Operate power tools and equipment safely on the construction site.
• Collaborate with supervisors and other trades to ensure accurate installation.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area and report any hazards or material issues.

Required profile

• Previous experience as a steel fixer or in a similar reinforcement role.
• Ability to work safely with power tools, welding equipment and heavy reinforcement components.
• Knowledge of fall protection practices and working at heights.
• Physical capability to perform demanding manual work in various weather conditions.
• Good teamwork, communication and reliability.
