Store Associate

About the role

The Store Associate ensures smooth operation of the Express supermarket by keeping shelves stocked, assisting customers, and supporting cash and receiving activities. You will work in a fast‑paced environment, helping to meet sales targets while maintaining high standards of presentation and safety.

Key responsibilities

• Receive, check, replenish and display products according to planograms.
• Keep shelves organized, clean, well‑stocked, correctly priced and labelled.
• Identify slow‑moving or near‑expiry items and support stock management.
• Assist customers with product inquiries and provide excellent service.
• Support receiving operations while following safety procedures.
• Operate cash registers: scan items, process payments and pack purchases.
• Handle cash, perform reconciliation and follow security protocols.
• Maintain hygiene, safety and operational standards across store and warehouse areas.

Required profile

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 6‑12 months experience in retail, supermarket, hypermarket, customer service, cashier or stock handling.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment.

Required skills

• Basic Microsoft Office knowledge.
