Stores Supervisor

About the role

The Stores Supervisor will lead daily store and warehouse operations for NMC Healthcare in Abu Dhabi. You will ensure that all materials are received, stored, picked and issued accurately while maintaining a safe and organized environment.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise receiving, storing, picking and issuing of materials.
• Verify incoming goods against purchase orders, delivery notes and specifications.
• Maintain proper labeling, identification and organization of stock.
• Monitor inventory levels, conduct regular stock counts and physical inventory checks.
• Investigate and report discrepancies, damages, shortages and excess inventory.
• Prepare and process material requisitions, goods received notes, stock transfer notes and issue vouchers.
• Coordinate with Procurement, Operations, Finance and other departments on stock requirements.
• Ensure FIFO/FEFO practices and manage slow‑moving, obsolete or expired items.
• Allocate tasks to storekeepers and warehouse assistants and enforce health‑and‑safety standards.
• Support internal and external audits with accurate inventory records.

Required profile

• Proven experience supervising store or warehouse activities.
• Strong knowledge of inventory control and stock verification processes.
• Familiarity with ERP or inventory management systems.
• Ability to enforce FIFO/FEFO and handle hazardous or temperature‑sensitive materials.
• Good understanding of health, safety and housekeeping standards.
