Structural Design Engineer

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Structural Design Engineer to join our Dubai team. The role involves leading structural analysis and design for residential, commercial and mixed‑use projects, ensuring compliance with local codes and international standards.

Key responsibilities

• Perform structural analysis and design for a variety of building projects.
• Prepare detailed calculations, drawings, specifications and design reports.
• Design reinforced concrete and steel elements, including foundations, columns, beams and slabs.
• Review architectural and MEP drawings to ensure proper coordination.
• Coordinate with architects, MEP engineers, contractors and consultants.
• Review shop drawings, material submissions and technical documents.
• Conduct site visits and provide technical support during construction.
• Identify and resolve design and construction issues while ensuring regulatory compliance.
• Assist with value engineering and optimisation of structural solutions.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
• 5–8 years of hands‑on structural design experience.
• Strong knowledge of reinforced concrete and structural steel design.
• Good understanding of local building codes and authority requirements.

Required skills

• Proficiency in STAAD.Pro, ETABS, SAFE, SAP2000.
• Strong AutoCAD skills.
• Experience with Revit Structure.
