Structural Engineer – Residential & Villa Projects

About the role

Creative Home is looking for a hands‑on Structural & Design Engineer to lead the structural design of high‑end residential villa projects in Dubai. The role covers new builds, extensions, renovations and the integration of MEP systems, ensuring compliance with local regulations and client expectations.

Key responsibilities

• Perform structural analysis and design for reinforced concrete sub‑structures, super‑structures, foundations and steel elements using ETABS, SAFE, SAP2000 or STAAD.Pro.
• Assess existing villas, design modifications, openings, and vertical or horizontal extensions, and prepare detailed construction drawings.
• Produce coordinated structural and MEP layout drawings in AutoCAD and Revit, supporting buildability and code compliance.
• Prepare complete drawing packages, calculations and NOC documentation for submission to Dubai Municipality, DDA, Trakhees and master developers.
• Review and design structural elements for pools, water features, pump rooms and outdoor hard‑scape.
• Conduct site inspections, monitor reinforcement, formwork and concrete works, and ensure adherence to approved designs and UAE building codes.
• Respond to RFIs, provide technical support to contractors and review shop drawings.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
• G+1 registration with Dubai Municipality or Society of Engineers.
• 3–7 years of UAE experience in structural design and site engineering for residential villas.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating new builds, extensions and renovation projects.

Required skills

• Proficiency with ETABS, SAFE, SAP2000 or STAAD.Pro for structural analysis.
• Advanced AutoCAD and Revit modeling for structural and MEP coordination.
• Knowledge of reinforced concrete and steel design, foundation systems and local building codes.
• Experience preparing authority approval packages for Dubai Municipality, DDA and Trakhees.
