Student Field Service Engineer – Falcon Program (UAE Nationals)

About the role

As a Honeywell Falcon employee you will gain hands‑on experience in a leading technology company while continuing your academic studies. The role supports the Building Management System (BMS) Technical Support team and involves remote collaboration, data analysis and reporting.

Key responsibilities

• Attend scheduled training sessions and seminars focused on technical and soft‑skill development.
• Collaborate on real‑world projects, applying theoretical knowledge to practical scenarios.
• Participate in mentorship meetings and engage with managers for career guidance.
• Represent Honeywell at events and community outreach when needed.
• Support the BMS Technical Support team in daily operational and administrative activities.
• Prepare technical reports, service summaries, management presentations and customer support documentation.
• Track and maintain records of technical support cases, escalations and resolutions.
• Collect, organise, validate and analyse technical and operational data for decision‑making.
• Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports to monitor support activities, service trends and KPIs.
• Support reporting and tracking of training activities, certifications and knowledge‑sharing sessions.
• Analyse recurring technical issues to identify trends, root causes and improvement opportunities.
• Assist in maintaining technical documentation, knowledge‑base articles and best‑practice repositories.
• Collaborate with technical support engineers and stakeholders to prepare analytical reports.
• Contribute to process‑improvement and digitalisation initiatives through reporting automation.

Required profile

• Currently enrolled as a Junior or Sophomore in Electrical Engineering, Automation, IT, Computer Science, Data Analytics or a related discipline.
• Strong academic record and eagerness to learn.
• Effective time‑management skills to handle remote work responsibilities alongside studies.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving capabilities with attention to detail.
• Interest in Building Management Systems, smart buildings, IoT or digital transformation technologies.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, formulas, charts) and other Office applications (PowerPoint, Microsoft Project).
• Experience with Microsoft Power BI for data visualization.
• Familiarity with Power Platform tools such as Power Automate and Power Apps (advantageous).
• Ability to collect, organise, analyse and present data in a structured, professional manner.
• Fluency in English (reading, speaking, writing).
