Supervisor Commissioning I&C – Offshore WHT Subsea Piping BFs

About the role

Penspen is seeking an experienced Supervisor to lead Instrumentation & Control (I&C) commissioning activities for offshore oil & gas facilities in Abu Dhabi. The role covers Wellhead Towers, offshore platforms, subsea pipelines, and brownfield modification projects.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate I&C commissioning, testing, startup, and handover for offshore facilities.
• Ensure compliance with project specifications, HSE requirements, and approved procedures.
• Act as the field focal point for instrumentation, automation, and control systems, overseeing technicians, vendors, and contractors.
• Monitor progress, productivity, and quality at fabrication yards, offshore installations, and brownfield sites.
• Report status, issues, and risks to the Commissioning Engineer or Lead.
• Verify interfaces between Wellhead Towers and central processing facilities.
• Support leak detection, pipeline monitoring, and SIMOPS compliance.

Required profile

• Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, Chemical Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 10 years of experience, with at least 5 years in offshore I&C commissioning.
• Proven track record on offshore platforms, Wellhead Towers, jackets, topsides, and brownfield projects.
