About the role
We are seeking an experienced Supplier Relationship Management (SRM) Specialist to join a leading organization in Abu Dhabi. The role will oversee the full supplier lifecycle—from registration and onboarding to risk assessment, performance monitoring, and ongoing relationship management—ensuring data accuracy and compliance across all supplier records.
Key responsibilities
- Manage supplier registration, qualification, and onboarding processes.
- Review and validate supplier documentation for completeness and accuracy.
- Coordinate due‑diligence, risk, and conflict‑of‑interest checks.
- Maintain and update supplier master data in Oracle Fusion or other ERP systems, preventing duplicate records.
- Monitor licences, certificates, ICV status, and regulatory documents for expiry.
- Collaborate with Finance to verify bank, tax, and payment details.
- Identify high‑risk suppliers and recommend additional monitoring or suspension.
- Group suppliers by value, importance, and risk profile.
- Track supplier performance using scorecards and conduct regular reviews.
- Prepare performance, risk, and KPI reports for stakeholders.
- Suggest improvements to supplier processes, controls, and reporting mechanisms.
Required profile
- UAE National with a valid Family Book.
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Finance, Engineering or a related field.
- 5–8 years of experience in supplier or vendor management, procurement, or supply‑chain operations.
- Proven experience in supplier registration, onboarding, and qualification.
- Strong knowledge of supplier risk, due diligence, compliance, and master‑data management.
- Experience conducting supplier performance reviews and using scorecards.
- Familiarity with ERP or procurement systems; Oracle Fusion preferred.
- Excellent reporting, communication, and stakeholder‑management skills.
- Professional certifications such as CIPS, CPSM, CPM are a plus.
- Experience in regulated sectors (financial services, government, etc.) is advantageous.
