Supply Chain Manager (Abu Dhabi)

About the role

The leading manufacturing company in Abu Dhabi is seeking an experienced Supply Chain Manager to design and execute a comprehensive supply‑chain strategy. You will be responsible for overseeing procurement, logistics, warehousing and inventory control to ensure seamless material flow and cost efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement a supply‑chain strategy covering procurement, logistics, warehousing and inventory control.
• Build and maintain a network of local and international suppliers, handling sourcing, evaluation, negotiation and contract administration.
• Coordinate with production planning to guarantee timely material availability.
• Establish and optimise inventory management systems, including stock control and material handling procedures.
• Oversee inbound and outbound logistics, managing relationships with freight forwarders and service providers.
• Ensure compliance with UAE import/export regulations and proper documentation.
• Support ERP implementation and configuration for supply‑chain functions.
• Develop and enforce policies, procedures and KPIs to drive performance.
• Identify cost‑reduction, process‑improvement and risk‑mitigation opportunities.
• Lead, mentor and develop procurement, warehousing and logistics teams.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Engineering or a related field.
• 10+ years of supply‑chain management experience in manufacturing or industrial settings.
• Proven track record of building or improving supply‑chain operations, preferably in high‑growth or greenfield environments.
• Strong commercial awareness with solid cost‑control and decision‑making abilities.
• Analytical and problem‑solving mindset, able to thrive in a fast‑paced environment.

Required skills

• Experience with ERP systems such as SAP and Oracle.
• Proficiency in procurement and sourcing processes.
• Knowledge of inventory management and logistics coordination tools.
