About the role
The Supply & Inventory Planner is a key member of Al Futtaim Automotive’s Global Aftersales team, responsible for managing roughly USD 100 million of inventory in Saudi Arabia. The role balances inventory costs with service levels, ensuring parts are available for new models and after‑sales support while minimizing excess and obsolete stock.
Key responsibilities
- Generate daily, weekly and monthly purchase orders, transmit them to suppliers and confirm receipt.
- Monitor lead times, back‑orders and run‑out risks; adjust forecasts and place orders to maintain service levels.
- Review inventory policies, track aged stock, forecast needs and dispose of dead stock.
- Create Advance Shipping Notifications, support logistics inbound clearance and manage logistics payments and letters of credit.
- Develop dashboards, lead Kaizen projects and advise on inventory‑control actions.
- Continuously tune SAP system parameters, alerts and run‑out risk calculations.
Required profile
- UAE national.
- Experience in supply chain and inventory management, preferably in the automotive sector.
- Strong problem‑solving and process‑improvement mindset.
Required skills
- Proficiency with MS Office.
- Hands‑on experience with ERP systems, especially SAP.
