Light Duty Driver

About the role

The Light Duty Driver is responsible for safely operating company vehicles to transport processed items and linens across various customer locations in Dubai. The role requires strict adherence to UAE traffic regulations, proactive safety reporting, and maintaining vehicle hygiene to ensure service quality.

Key responsibilities

• Observe and comply with UAE traffic rules, reporting any health and safety hazards to the immediate supervisor.
• Assist in conducting drive tests on new vehicles and ensure correct loading to prevent load shift and vehicle imbalance.
• Plan alternate routes using logical judgment to reduce travel time, improve efficiency, and lower fuel consumption.
• Maintain accurate daily trip sheets and provide necessary data to the Operations Assistant.
• Pick up and return processed items/linens to customers according to schedule and ad‑hoc requests, ensuring customer satisfaction.
• Keep the vehicle clean and hygienic to minimise contamination of linens.
• Interact with internal and external customers in a polite and professional manner.

Required profile

• High School Certificate.
• Valid UAE Light Duty vehicle license (must have).
• Minimum 2 years of driving experience on UAE roads.
• Good communication skills.
