Swim Instructor

About the role

We are looking for a qualified Swim Instructor to lead structured swimming classes for participants of all ages and skill levels. The role involves planning lessons, managing a personal client roster, and ensuring a safe, supportive environment in our aquatic facilities.

Key responsibilities

• Design and deliver structured swimming lessons for beginners to advanced swimmers.
• Manage individual client schedules and maintain accurate lesson records.
• Foster positive relationships with members, parents, and fellow staff.
• Maintain necessary documentation for each lesson, including attendance and progress notes.
• Coordinate with the department’s administration to keep records and schedules up‑to‑date.

Required profile

• Certified Level 2 STA Award (or equivalent swimming instruction qualification).
• Current First Aid and Rescue certification.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage a personal client base.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
