Tailor & Laundry Attendant

About the role

The Tailor Cum Laundry Attendant ensures that all guest and hotel laundry is processed quickly, efficiently, and to the highest standards of cleanliness and care. Working within Anantara Retreat Santorini Abu Dhabi, you will support both laundry operations and uniform management while upholding the brand’s hospitality values.

Key responsibilities

• Collect, sort, and process guest laundry according to SOPs, separating items by use and colour.
• Operate laundry machines safely, respecting weight limits and chemical handling procedures.
• Prepare items for dry‑cleaning, pressing, or washing and deliver them back to rooms, observing ‘Do Not Disturb’ requests.
• Provide billing details to the cashiering department before shift end.
• Maintain uniform inventory, ensure uniforms are clean, repaired, and correctly marked.
• Record uniform and laundry inventory, recommend waste‑reduction measures, and alert supervisors of re‑order needs.
• Assist colleagues with assignments and perform additional hotel duties as required.
