Talent Acquisition Specialist – Media & Content

About the role

We are building an AI‑native team focused on media, journalism, content creation and creative production. As a Talent Acquisition Specialist you will own the end‑to‑end hiring process for journalists, editors, writers, producers, video creators, social media specialists, visual storytellers and content strategists who work daily with AI tools.

Key responsibilities

• Design and execute full‑cycle recruitment for media, editorial, content and production functions.
• Source, assess and evaluate candidates using portfolios, published work, video output and practical assignments.
• Validate genuine AI fluency and how candidates leverage tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, Midjourney, Runway, ElevenLabs and Perplexity.
• Build structured hiring pipelines and recruitment processes from scratch.
• Partner directly with founders and senior leadership on every hire.
• Define performance criteria for each role and maintain a live talent pipeline.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of talent acquisition experience with a focus on media, journalism, editorial, content or production roles.
• Proven track record hiring journalists, editors, writers, producers, video professionals or similar media talent.
• Experience hiring across at least two of the following areas: journalism, editorial, content production, video production, social media, visual storytelling, creative production.
• Strong ability to assess writing, storytelling, editorial judgment, research ability and production quality.

Required skills

• Hands‑on use of AI tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, Midjourney, Runway, ElevenLabs and Perplexity.
• Portfolio and sample evaluation for written, video and visual content.
• Building recruitment processes in early‑stage or fast‑moving environments.
