Talent Coach – Welcome Office

About the role

The Talent Coach – Welcome Office supports Marriott’s front‑desk operations by ensuring smooth guest check‑ins, accurate billing, and high‑quality service while also coaching and developing front‑line staff.

Key responsibilities

• Process guest check‑ins, verify identity, assign rooms, issue keys and activate Marriott Rewards.
• Handle all payment types, vouchers, cash drops, and balance receipts; follow accounting and loss‑prevention procedures.
• Compile daily reports, cashier and closing logs, and maintain accurate guest accounts.
• Provide guests with property information, directions and respond to service requests.
• Coach, train, evaluate and motivate front‑desk team members, acting as the first point of contact for the Guarantee of Fair Treatment/Open Door Policy.
• Maintain safety standards, report incidents, and ensure personal appearance meets brand guidelines.

Required profile

• High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
• Minimum 1 year of related hospitality experience.
• At least 1 year of supervisory or coaching experience.
• No specific license or certification required.

Required skills

• POS system operation.
• Cash handling and payment processing.
• Basic computer proficiency for data entry and reporting.
