Teaching Positions – August 2026

About the role

Star International School in Dubai is recruiting a range of teaching professionals for the August 2026 intake across its Al Twar and Mirdif campuses. Positions include Primary Teacher, English Teacher, Head of English, Head of Mathematics, EYFS Teacher, Inclusion Teacher, Geography Teacher (with leadership potential) and Business & Economics Teacher. Successful candidates will plan, deliver and assess high‑quality learning experiences, fostering academic, social and emotional development in a safe, inclusive environment.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement and oversee the academic programme in line with the school’s curriculum.
• Deliver engaging, student‑centred lessons and assess student progress.
• Collaborate with colleagues, mentor teaching staff and lead pedagogical meetings.
• Monitor and support students’ academic, social and emotional wellbeing, including those with specific learning needs.
• Maintain regular communication with parents and participate in school events.
• Prepare academic reports, coordinate timetables, assessments and ensure compliance with internal policies and educational regulations.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field, UK QTS or equivalent.
• Valid teaching certification or licence as required by UAE regulations.
• Minimum of 2 years teaching experience, preferably in bilingual or international schools.
• Strong classroom management, instructional and assessment skills.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and organisational abilities.

Required skills

• Knowledge of child development and age‑appropriate teaching methodologies.
• Ability to differentiate instruction to meet diverse learning needs.
• Proficiency in using digital learning platforms and assessment tools.
