Team Leader – Customer Service (UAE National)

About the role

We are looking for a dynamic Team Leader to oversee our retail sales floor and ensure an exceptional customer experience. The role is based in the UAE and is open to UAE nationals who can motivate a team, meet sales targets and uphold store standards.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and guide the retail sales team during daily operations.
• Allocate duties, shifts, break schedules, and floor responsibilities.
• Drive the team to achieve daily/monthly sales targets and KPIs.
• Monitor individual and team performance and provide regular coaching and feedback.
• Handle customer queries, complaints, and escalations professionally.
• Conduct daily team briefings and communicate targets, promotions, and operational updates.
• Support upselling, cross‑selling, and promotional activities.
• Ensure merchandise is correctly displayed, priced, replenished, and available.
• Monitor stock levels and coordinate with inventory/store teams.
• Maintain compliance with cash‑handling, POS, store policies, and operational procedures.
• Maintain store cleanliness, visual merchandising, and brand standards.
• Support onboarding and training of new retail staff.
• Prepare basic sales, attendance, productivity, and operational reports.
• Coordinate with Store Manager/Assistant Store Manager on operational and staffing requirements.

Required profile

• Minimum 2–4 years of retail experience, including supervisory or team‑lead responsibilities.
• Proven ability to achieve sales targets and manage KPIs.
• Strong people‑management, coaching and problem‑solving abilities.
• Comfortable working in shifts, weekends and public holidays.
• UAE/GCC retail experience is an advantage.
