Team Leader – Project HSE

About the role

The Team Leader, Project HSE will direct all health, safety and environment activities for ADNOC’s Transmission P‑P&T‑1 projects. You will ensure safe execution across the full project lifecycle, from assessment and design through construction and commissioning, in line with ADNOC standards and international best practice.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, implement and monitor project‑specific HSE plans aligned with scope, risk profile and execution strategy.
• Lead HSE audits, manage corrective actions and ensure timely closure of findings.
• Oversee contractor HSE performance, guaranteeing compliance with contractual and regulatory requirements.
• Conduct HSE studies such as HAZID, HAZOP, risk and impact assessments and drive root‑cause investigations.
• Coordinate HSE assurance processes to verify that equipment, materials and services meet safety standards before hand‑over.
• Report HSE performance metrics, drive KPIs and support continuous improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.
• Minimum 8 years of project engineering experience in the oil and gas sector.
• Proven leadership ability to influence multidisciplinary teams and contractors.
• Demonstrated experience integrating HSE requirements throughout all project phases.
