Team Leader - Warehousing

About the role

The Team Leader – Warehousing will manage daily warehouse activities in Dubai, ensuring efficient receipt, storage and shipment of products while maintaining high safety and quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storing and shipping products.
• Lead and mentor warehouse staff, ensuring adherence to operational procedures and safety protocols.
• Monitor inventory levels and coordinate stock replenishment with the Warehouse Supervisor.
• Conduct regular training sessions on warehouse practices, safety and equipment use.
• Utilise LFS Warehouse Management System (WMS) to track inventory and manage order fulfilment.
• Operate and instruct others on the use of RF scanners for inventory management and order picking.
• Implement and maintain effective inventory control processes, including daily stock reconciliation.
• Analyse operational performance metrics and develop improvement strategies.
• Coordinate with other departments to ensure timely and accurate order processing.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a clean, organised warehouse environment.
• Assist in developing and implementing standard operating procedures (SOPs).
• Oversee maintenance and upkeep of warehouse equipment.
• Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback.
• Handle and resolve employee issues or conflicts promptly and professionally.
• Prepare reports on warehouse performance, inventory levels and operational challenges for management review.

Required profile

• Proven ability to lead and mentor warehouse staff.
• Strong knowledge of safety regulations and warehouse best practices.
• Experience in conducting training sessions and performance evaluations.
• Capability to analyse operational data and implement improvement measures.
• Effective communication and conflict‑resolution skills.
