Technical Lead – Cards & Syndicated Loans

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Technical Lead to drive the design, delivery, and support of corporate card and syndicated loan platforms for a leading banking client in Abu Dhabi. The role combines deep domain expertise with hands‑on technology leadership to ensure secure, compliant, and scalable solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end technical design and architecture for corporate card and syndicated loan systems.
• Translate business requirements into scalable API‑based, micro‑services solutions.
• Own platform delivery, production support, and incident management.
• Manage external vendors, development teams, and internal stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with AML, KYC, IFRS, Basel and data‑privacy regulations.

Required profile

• Minimum 8 years of experience in information systems, with at least 2 years in a lead or managerial role.
• Proven track record delivering large‑scale banking technology projects.
• Experience managing production systems, application support, and vendor relationships.
• Bachelor’s degree in IT or Computer Science; PMP, Prince2 or ITIL certification is a plus.
