Technical Lead Designer

About the role

We are looking for a full‑time Technical Lead Designer to drive interior fit‑out projects in Dubai. You will take over from the concept design team, ensure technical accuracy, and guide the project to successful completion.

Key responsibilities

• Take handover from concept design and lead the project through finalisation, including shop drawings and client meetings.
• Conduct weekly site visits and coordinate on‑site issue resolution.
• Verify design compliance with local regulations, standards, material specifications and 3D visuals.
• Review and comment on drawings, ensuring sufficient detail for execution.
• Manage approvals, minutes of meetings and regular communication with the Project Manager.
• Control documentation, update the system with the latest design revisions, and monitor variation requests.
• Collaborate with FF&E designers, concept leads and the construction team to maintain design intent.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Architecture or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of lead interior design experience in the UAE fit‑out and joinery sector.
• Proven experience on residential villa projects.
• Strong analytical ability for cost estimation and risk identification.
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
