Technical Office Engineer – Civil (UAE EPC Oil & Gas)

About the role

We are looking for a Technical Office Engineer specialized in civil and structural works to join our EPC Oil & Gas team for a project in Ruwais, UAE. The role involves supporting the site‑based project by handling technical office tasks, document control and coordination with various stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare, review and submit shop drawings, as‑built drawings and technical submittals in line with project requirements.
• Perform quantity take‑off (QTO), assist in cost estimation and variation order preparation.
• Coordinate with site engineers, project managers, consultants and clients to resolve technical issues.
• Ensure civil works comply with ADNOC standards, project specifications and IFC drawings.
• Develop method statements, material submittals and maintain accurate documentation control.
• Support the planning team with technical inputs and monitor project progress.
• Assist procurement by evaluating material and subcontractor submissions.
• Review vendor documents, prepare material take‑offs (MTO) and resolve design clashes.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 + years of experience on EPC Oil & Gas projects in the UAE, with strong ADNOC project exposure.
• Hands‑on experience in technical office and site‑based civil engineering activities.
• Proven ability to work with multidisciplinary teams and manage documentation.
