Technical Operations Engineer – Simulation Center

About the role

Anduril Industries is seeking a Technical Operations Engineer to support its new simulation centre in Abu Dhabi. The role will initially be based in London while the centre is built, then transition to onsite work in the UAE. You will work directly with the Air Maneuver Dominance / Advanced Capabilities team and the Emirati Ministry of Defense to deliver immersive AR/VR training and wargaming solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as a customer‑facing engineer, collaborating with EDGE and the Ministry of Defense on hardware‑software integration.
• Plan, set up, configure and test equipment and software for AR/VR and simulation demonstrations.
• Support multi‑day wargaming exercises, including deployment, recovery and on‑site troubleshooting.
• Coordinate with software platform providers before, during and after missions.
• Own the deployment of Anduril’s AR/VR gaming engine and mission simulation software at events and exercises.

Required profile

• Minimum of 1 month of relevant technical experience (junior level).
• Ability to work onsite in Abu Dhabi and initially in London.
• Strong customer‑facing and communication skills.
• Comfortable operating in field environments and handling hardware equipment.
