Technical Product Owner – API Specialist

About the role

Emirates is seeking a Technical Product Owner – API Specialist to join its Technical Product Management team in Dubai. You will act as the single point of coordination between strategy and execution for the API Hub, ensuring that API initiatives are delivered on time, technically sound, and aligned with enterprise standards.

Key responsibilities

• Own story content, acceptance criteria, and final sign‑off across multiple team backlogs.
• Prepare, refine, and prioritize user stories for upcoming Program Increments (PIs).
• Capture technical debt and non‑functional requirements, ensuring they are addressed.
• Support the API Technical Manager in driving the API Hub roadmap and managing cross‑portfolio dependencies.
• Serve as the primary SPOC for API stakeholders, communities, and enablement activities.
• Partner with business counterparts to represent the customer voice throughout the product lifecycle.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Technical Product Owner or similar role.
• Strong understanding of API management and API Hub operating models.
• Ability to lead and empower agile development teams.
• Experience coordinating strategy, execution, and stakeholder communication.
