Technical Service Manager - Gas Treatment

About the role

The Technical Service Manager – Gas Treatment will lead the delivery and optimisation of gas treatment solutions across the Middle East and Central Asia. This role combines technical expertise, business development and customer engagement to support OASE® technologies and build long‑term partnerships in the gas processing industry.

Key responsibilities

• Drive business development and growth initiatives for natural gas, LNG, syngas, refinery tail gas, flue gas, biogas and hydrogen applications.
• Develop and maintain relationships with customers, licensors, engineering contractors and industry partners.
• Support licensing, implementation, and technical delivery of gas treatment technologies throughout the project lifecycle.
• Lead pre‑commissioning, commissioning, start‑up, performance testing and optimisation of gas treatment units.
• Provide technical support, troubleshooting, root‑cause analysis and operational recommendations to improve plant reliability.
• Conduct process audits, shutdown support, performance evaluations and continuous‑improvement studies.
• Manage solvent reclaiming, amine quality and filtration system optimisation.
• Deliver technical training and knowledge transfer to customer operations and maintenance teams.
• Collaborate with engineering, sales, product management and other business units to deliver integrated solutions.
• Monitor market developments, competitive activities and industry trends to identify growth opportunities.
• Represent the company at industry conferences, technical forums, customer events and trade exhibitions.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering (MBA or postgraduate qualifications advantageous).
• 8–10 years of experience in process engineering, gas treatment, gas processing or related industrial applications.
• Strong knowledge of acid‑gas removal, amine treating, CO₂ capture and gas purification technologies.
• Proven experience in design, commissioning, operation, optimisation or troubleshooting of gas treatment facilities.
• Experience in technical marketing, business development or technical sales.
