Technical Services Engineer – Aircraft Maintenance Program

About the role

The Technical Services Engineer will design, develop and manage Air Arabia’s Aircraft Maintenance Program (AMP) to ensure continued airworthiness of both airline and third‑party aircraft. The role acts as a bridge between internal engineering teams, external providers and regulatory bodies.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the full lifecycle of the Aircraft Maintenance Program, from development through delivery and re‑delivery of aircraft.
• Support line, hangar and MCC teams with data collation, performance reviews, analysis of requests and corrective actions.
• Ensure the AMP complies with OEM, CAMO and other regulatory requirements, and introduce approved ADs and recommendations promptly.
• Analyse technical performance data to identify cost‑effective solutions and drive proactive changes.
• Collaborate with Planning Engineers to optimise fleet availability and maintenance planning.
• Represent the company in Maintenance Review Board meetings and coordinate with regulators, manufacturers and customer airlines.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Aircraft, Aeronautical, Aerospace, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (or equivalent higher diploma).
• Minimum 5 years of aviation industry experience, preferably with Airbus A320 and CAMO environments.
• Training in Human Factors, Safety and, ideally, MSG/3.
• Experience with aircraft reliability programmes, quality assurance and audit practices.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite.
• Experience using MRO systems and web‑based research tools.
• Knowledge of CAMO regulations and aircraft maintenance programme software.
• Familiarity with Airbus 320 aircraft and MSG/3 processes.
