Technical Services Engineer - Propulsion

About the role

Manage and monitor the Power Plants (Engines and APU) Reliability Program for Air Arabia’s fleet and third‑party aircraft. The role covers short‑ and long‑term maintenance needs, modifications, and data‑driven actions to optimise reliability, cost‑effective dispatch, fleet readiness and safety.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee day‑to‑day technical assessment of engines and APUs, including data collection, performance review and corrective actions.
• Support the Head of Engineering in developing procedures, specifications and Engineering Operational Standards for the propulsion reliability program.
• Analyse technical performance reports, conduct root‑cause investigations and recommend modifications to the Aircraft Maintenance Program.
• Generate and present reliability reports, trend analyses and maintenance plans to management, cross‑functional teams and regulatory bodies.
• Coordinate with Planning, MCC, OEMs and external partners on engine/shop visits, spare‑engine management and warranty/contract administration.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Aircraft Engineering (Mechanical/Aeronautical) or equivalent higher diploma/certificate with relevant experience.
• Minimum 5 years of aviation industry experience, preferably with Airbus A320 and CAMO requirements.
• Hands‑on experience with CFM56/5B engines and GTCP 131‑9A APUs.
• Familiarity with civil aviation authority regulations (GCAA preferred) and continuous airworthiness management.
• Fluent English, strong written and verbal communication skills.
