Technical Writer

About the role

AL TARIQ is seeking a Technical Writer to create and maintain comprehensive technical manuals for upgraded vehicles. The role involves translating engineering data into clear documentation and supporting the engineering team throughout the product lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, write, and update technical manuals for vehicle upgrades, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
• Interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and data into user‑friendly documentation.
• Collaborate with engineering, quality, and customer teams to gather technical information.
• Create schematics, diagrams, and visual aids to enhance technical content.
• Maintain version control and ensure manuals meet standards, contractual requirements, and internal procedures.
• Participate in design reviews to stay current on vehicle systems and configurations.
• Incorporate stakeholder feedback and continuously improve documentation processes and templates.
• Safeguard confidentiality of company information and support risk management activities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.
• Minimum two years of relevant technical writing or engineering documentation experience.
• Strong organisational, communication, and attention‑to‑detail abilities.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Native‑level English proficiency; Arabic proficiency preferred.
• Valid UAE driver’s license or ability to obtain one.
