Technician – ELV Systems Installation & Maintenance

About the role

ITEX Technology, a Dubai‑based systems integrator, is seeking a Technician to support the installation, testing and maintenance of low‑voltage (ELV) solutions across ICT, security and audiovisual projects. The role is ideal for candidates with 1‑2 years of ELV experience who can join immediately and thrive in a fast‑paced, team‑oriented environment.

Key responsibilities

• Assist with the installation, testing and commissioning of ELV systems on client sites.
• Perform troubleshooting, diagnostics and basic repairs on assigned equipment.
• Support project teams during installation and hand‑over phases, ensuring compliance with company standards.
• Maintain tools, equipment and accurate service documentation.
• Collaborate with senior engineers to resolve technical issues and improve system performance.

Required profile

• 1–2 years of hands‑on experience in the ELV industry.
• Immediate availability for full‑time onsite work in Dubai.
• Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
• Strong willingness to learn new technologies and adapt to evolving project requirements.

Required skills

• Practical knowledge of ELV systems, including building automation and control.
• Familiarity with ICT, security and AV solutions.
• Experience (or exposure) with Honeywell, Siemens, Schneider or Trend platforms (preferred).
