Technology Support Specialist (On-site) – Associate

About the role

As an Associate Technology Support Specialist at EY, you will ensure that employees in Dubai can work efficiently and securely by delivering on‑site hardware, software and mobile technology support. You will work in a fast‑paced environment, handling a wide range of end‑user incidents while prioritising tasks across multiple technologies. This position is aimed at UAE nationals seeking a long‑term career in a globally connected technology function.

Key responsibilities

• Deploy, install, configure and test firm‑standard hardware and software on‑site.
• Manage provisioning and de‑provisioning processes for new hires and departing staff.
• Coordinate repairs of end‑user hardware and reinstall software to resolve incidents.
• Troubleshoot and resolve incidents related to hardware, software and mobile technologies, identifying trends for prevention.
• Provide after‑hours support for escalated issues with minimal supervision.
• Perform asset‑management activities including procurement, inventory tracking and distribution in line with EY policies.
• Support off‑site technology needs for firm‑sponsored meetings, events, office moves and relocations.
• Act as “remote hands” for other EY Technology teams such as Telecommunications and Hosting.
• Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of EY Technology services to proactively address end‑user needs.

Required profile

• Approximately 2–4 years of experience in end‑user technology support.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
• Strong analytical abilities to resolve escalated incidents.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and time‑management skills.
• Customer‑service mindset with the ability to work with diverse stakeholders.
