Teller – Branch Banking Operations

About the role

The Teller will deliver high‑quality counter services to customers at the Muhaisnah branch in Dubai, ensuring accurate and efficient processing of transactions while upholding ADIB’s professional image.

Key responsibilities

• Process all teller counter transactions, including cash deposits, withdrawals, drafts, telegraphic transfers, payment orders, standing orders, foreign currency purchases/sales, and cheque deposits.
• Coordinate with the Treasury department to obtain optimal rates for VIP and high‑net‑worth customers.
• Serve private banking customers at dedicated counters when required.
• Identify cross‑sell opportunities and refer product inquiries to sales staff.
• Act as one of the dual custodians for branch vault cash and security stationery, assisting the Head of Operations as the second custodian.
• Perform cash reconciliation, end‑of‑day balancing, and general filing duties.
• Ensure compliance with centralized branch operations projects and adhere to ADIB’s operational policies and procedures.

Required profile

• UAE national.
• Strong knowledge of ADIB’s retail banking products and services.
• Familiarity with ADIB’s operational policies, UAE banking regulations, and Central Bank of UAE guidelines.
• Awareness of local market competitors and service standards.
