Telugu Language Specialist – Remote AI Data Reviewer

About the role

We are looking for a native‑level Telugu speaker to work remotely as a specialist in reviewing and creating AI‑generated Telugu content. In this hourly contractor position you will evaluate the quality of outputs, provide detailed feedback in English, and produce high‑quality reference material that helps improve large language models.

Key responsibilities

• Review AI‑generated Telugu text for accuracy, fluency, grammar, spelling, tone and cultural relevance.
• Identify mistranslations, ambiguous phrasing, factual errors and logical inconsistencies.
• Write clear rewrites, model answers and step‑by‑step explanations that demonstrate best practices in Telugu writing.
• Rate and compare multiple AI responses based on correctness and overall quality.
• Fact‑check claims when required and ensure adherence to provided prompts.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Linguistics, Telugu/English Literature, Journalism, Translation or equivalent experience.
• Native or near‑native proficiency in reading and writing Telugu.
• Professional English proficiency (minimum C1) for detailed feedback.
• At least 3 years of experience in writing, editing, localization, translation, content QA, journalism or related fields.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently in a remote, hourly workflow.

Required skills

• Deep knowledge of Telugu grammar, spelling conventions and punctuation.
• Ability to handle multiple registers and regional variations.
• Experience with AI data annotation, translation QA or rubric‑based evaluation is a plus.
