Tendering Engineer / Quantity Surveyor (QS) – Dubai

About the role

We are seeking a qualified Tendering Engineer / Quantity Surveyor (QS) to join our team in Dubai. The role involves reviewing tender documents, preparing commercial proposals, and coordinating with various departments to ensure accurate tender pricing.

Key responsibilities

• Review tender documents, drawings, specifications, and BOQ to understand project requirements.
• Prepare and coordinate tender submissions, quotations, and commercial proposals.
• Collaborate with estimation, procurement, engineering, and project teams for accurate pricing.
• Prepare RFQs and obtain quotations from suppliers and subcontractors.
• Assist in quantity take‑off and cost evaluation during the tender stage.
• Analyze project requirements, identify risks, exclusions, and clarifications.
• Prepare tender comparison sheets, pricing summaries, and submission documents.
• Ensure all tender documents are complete and submitted within deadlines.
• Coordinate with clients/consultants for tender clarifications and additional requirements.
• Maintain records of submitted tenders and update tender status reports.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
• Experience in tendering/estimation within the UAE construction industry.
• Ability to work under deadlines and manage multiple tender submissions.
• Strong attention to detail and time‑management skills.
