Trade Operations Analyst

About the role

The Trade Operations Analyst will support the Local Business Development team by handling commercial administration, coordinating trade transactions and ensuring operational controls throughout the customer lifecycle. Acting as the central hub between Business Development, Finance, Bills, Operations and customers, the role enables the sales team to focus on growth and client engagement.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and issue customer offers, quotations and commercial proposals in line with approved terms.
• Maintain quotation registers, monitor offer status and support onboarding documentation.
• Coordinate transaction execution from contract signing through invoicing and settlement, ensuring timely completion of milestones.
• Maintain complete transaction files, track amendments and ensure all stakeholders use the latest approved documents.
• Review customer statements, invoices and transaction records, investigate discrepancies and support month‑end reconciliations.

Required profile

• 3‑5 years of experience in commodity trading, shipping, logistics, commercial operations, trade finance or sales support.
• Comfortable reading contracts and commercial agreements.
• Good understanding of invoicing, receivables and reconciliations.
• Highly organized, detail‑oriented and able to interact confidently with customers and internal teams.
