Trainee Approval Engineer – Emirati Graduate Programme

About the role

The Trainee Approval Engineer will join DNV’s Emirati Development Programme, a 12‑month graduate pathway designed for fresh UAE graduates. You will support project teams by performing technical analyses, preparing documentation, and contributing to reporting activities while building expertise in offshore structures and ship design.

Key responsibilities

• Assist senior engineers with engineering analyses and design reviews.
• Prepare and maintain technical documentation and project reports.
• Utilise engineering software tools to model and evaluate offshore and ship structures.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across DNV’s global network.
• Participate in cross‑functional rotations and hands‑on project assignments.

Required profile

• UAE national holding a valid Family Book.
• Fresh graduate from an engineering discipline.
• Strong analytical mindset and willingness to learn.
