Trainee Engineer (UAE National) – Aviation

About the role

This is a full‑time trainee position for UAE nationals interested in aviation electronics. You will develop the competencies required to progress from ATSEP NDP (Trainee) to ATSEP Engineer, supporting the reliability of air traffic control and navigation systems.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain the availability and integrity of ATE/ATM systems and related equipment.
• Participate in four structured training phases aligned with ICAO Doc 9868 and Doc 10057.
• Assist in the operation of communications, navigation and surveillance radar systems.
• Read and interpret technical drawings and schematic diagrams.
• Support the team in troubleshooting and routine maintenance tasks.

Required profile

• UAE national (male candidates must provide military exemption letter).
• Interest in aviation, especially communications, navigation and surveillance systems.
• Valid UAE driving licence.
• Strong attention to detail and good communication skills.
• Computer literacy with the MS Office suite.

Required skills

• Basic knowledge of communications, navigation and radar systems.
• Understanding of Air Traffic Management (ATM) concepts.
• Ability to read technical drawings and schematics.
• Proficiency in MS Office applications.
