About the role
Rejlers is seeking a motivated Trainee Procurement Engineer to join its Abu Dhabi team. The role offers a hands‑on introduction to procurement processes within the oil & gas, petrochemical and renewable energy sectors, supporting the company’s commitment to innovation and quality.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and execute procurement plans aligned with business needs.
- Review, compare and analyse products and services for purchase.
- Enforce procurement policies and ensure compliance with company standards.
- Maintain accurate inventory, pricing and supplier records.
- Build and sustain strong supplier relationships.
- Negotiate contracts and manage supplier performance.
- Conduct market research and evaluate new supply options.
- Prepare budgets, cost analyses and procurement reports.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain or a related engineering discipline.
- Fluent written and spoken English.
- Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
- Strong desire to learn and share new ideas.
- Commitment to quality and safety in professional work.
