Translation Trainer

About the role

The Translation Trainer will design, deliver and continuously improve a range of translation and interpretation courses for our trainees in Abu Dhabi. You will work closely with line managers, accountants and senior leaders to ensure training meets organisational needs and statutory requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor trainee progress through questionnaires and manager discussions.
• Ensure statutory training requirements are fulfilled.
• Evaluate and revise training programmes based on workplace changes.
• Assist line managers and trainers in solving specific training challenges.
• Stay current with training developments by reading journals and attending relevant courses.
• Identify training needs through job analysis and regular consultation with business managers and HR.
• Design and expand programmes to match organisational and individual needs while respecting budgets.
• Develop induction programmes, individual learning plans and in‑house training materials.
• Manage delivery of training programmes and contribute to overall training strategy.
• Apply e‑learning techniques and support creation/delivery of e‑learning packages.
• Research new workplace learning technologies and present findings.

Required profile

• Master's degree or PhD from a recognised university.
• Minimum 3 years practical experience in a major or multinational organisation.
• Proven ability to design and deliver translation courses such as Introduction to Translation, Legal Translation, Simultaneous Interpretation, etc.
• Strong understanding of training evaluation, budgeting and ROI assessment.
